Alomere Health
Upgrades in trophon2 device steamline the workflow and keep patients safe
About the Facility
Alomere Health’s Alexandria Clinic is a general medical and surgical hospital in Alexandria, Minnesota with 127 beds. The hospital system is growing with several locations, and it invested in trophon® EPR several years ago to move away from the chemical soaking they had been performing for probe reprocessing.
Upgrades in trophon2 device
As winners of the IIPW trophon2 giveback giveaway sweepstakes, Alomere was able to upgrade their trophon EPR to the new trophon2 device. Several of the sonographers had already used trophon2 devices at one of the other sites and were excited for the new features.
“We love the new trophon2 device! The upgrades from our previous trophon EPR devices help us to streamline our workflow, and keep our patients safe. Our all-patient clinic performs a variety of ultrasound procedures. We use the trophon device at least 10x per day. My favorite feature is how the trophon2 electronically logs the RFID tags. It's also nice that it can be set to not fall sleep like the previous model did, so it's always ready for use.”Lindsey SweepImaging Manager, Alomere Health
Outcomes
As a busy, all-patient clinic, the trophon2 device has helped Alomere Health streamline its workflow for a standardized process across multiple sites.
